See your title next to your thumbnail.

Preview your own text and cover at wide and narrow sizes. Check title length and the description opening.

Use your own title, description, channel name and optional cover to inspect a compact video card. Switch between wide and narrow layouts to see how the text wraps. The preview does not invent views, upload dates or ranking positions. The optional cover is displayed in your browser and is not sent to this text-check endpoint.

The review counts title characters and displays the first 140 description characters. It reports titles over 100 characters and unsupported angle brackets. Description characters and UTF-8 bytes are shown separately because the YouTube Data API description field uses a 5,000-byte limit. The Studio editor and actual YouTube layout have their own behavior. A preview can help spot a crowded title or unclear opening, but it is not a live search result or a click-rate estimate.

How to use the result

Shows an approximate layout of your title, description and local cover. It is not a live search result.

  1. Check the opening lines on a narrow screen.
  2. Read the cover and title as one promise.
  3. Check the actual upload interface before publishing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this a live YouTube search preview?

It is an approximate card using the content you provide. It does not query YouTube or show a real position, viewer count or upload date. Fonts, screen size and future product changes can make the real layout different.

Is my cover uploaded for this preview?

The optional cover is rendered from a local browser file URL. This text-check request sends only the title and description. Use the separate thumbnail analysis tool when you want a technical image check.

Why are both characters and bytes shown?

UTF-8 text can use more than one byte per character, especially for emoji and accented letters. YouTube documents a 100-character title field and a 5,000-byte description field in its Data API. Do not treat the byte count as the Studio character count.
